+LA Jewels

This week was LA's Fashion Market Week- had to do a run for work to check out show rooms and traffic. The economy has definitely declined in sales, but we're still shopping, just shopping smarter. I love clothing, but i really love the accessories that make an outfit, your own. I feel in love with a jewelry brand called Alkemie and loved some pieces from a bag company called JADEtribe. Below are some of my picks~

All of Alkemie Pieces are made from 100% reclaimed metals.  Handmade in Los Angeles.  Leather comes from sustainable cattle farmers and is dyed with earth friendly dye.  Below are some of my favorite pieces.
Designers: Dara Gerson & Ashley Lowengrub.
Starfish Cuff $209.00

Octopus Cuff $209.00

Ram Ring $154.00

buy and check out more on their website:

It was when she was standing in a rural village in Laos watching the women dye and weave these truly remarkable textiles, it all came together for her, the love of travel, the love of fashion and the love of people. A little bit beach-y, a little bit bohemian jet set, and 100 percent natural and ethical, JADEtribe is the true embodiment of fashion with a conscience.
Designer: Kimberly Hartman

Their website is still only for wholesalers so I couldn't click into anything. Sorry guys!

***i loved this line because it's inspired by my Hmong Ethnicity. The bright colors that we use in our traditional clothing and design are designs in her collection. I outlined in red, symbolic colors and designs from the Hmong Culture. JADEtribe definitely added their own bohemian touches that modernized the work of the Hmong. Amazing pieces.
